Reporting to the Manager, Drilling Services, the successful candidate will be involved in Geotechnical and Environmental drilling projects throughout Northwestern Ontario. Drilling services include solid stem augering, hollow stem augering, groundwater monitoring well installation and decommissioning, subsurface condition investigations, soil sampling, aggregate source investigations and construction site assessments.
Successful candidates will have experience operating drill rigs. Experience with soil sampling or geotechnical investigations is an asset but is not required. A valid Ontario class G driver’s license and a good driving record are required; an AZ license is an asset, but not required. Candidates with experience working with or around heavy equipment and using tools / troubleshooting mechanical issues are preferred.
Overtime is provided for any time worked beyond 44 hours per week. Out-of-town work including shift rotations work will be required. Travel expenses and accommodations are paid for by the Company. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications.
