Position Description

Lead and contribute to a wide range of Environmental Engineering and natural sciences projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. Apply advanced technical knowledge in environmental site assessment, remediation, monitoring, and regulatory compliance to support both public and private sector projects. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight while guiding junior staff and ensuring projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), remediation design and implementation, and environmental monitoring programs.
  • Oversee field investigations and sampling programs for soil, groundwater, surface water, and aggregate programs.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, data summaries, proposals, and regulatory submissions.
  • Lead environmental compliance and permitting activities with municipal, provincial, and federal agencies.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior and intermediate team members.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to business development through proposal preparation, scope definition, and client relationship management.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable environmental standards, regulations, and corporate quality and safety systems.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in Environmental Engineering and natural sciences, supported by a degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Geological Engineering from an accredited institution, and registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience in environmental assessment, remediation, or compliance within consulting or related industries. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of environmental legislation, contaminated site management, and field investigation methods. Proficiency with environmental data management and modeling software, coupled with strong communication, leadership, and project management skills, are essential for success in this position.

This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications ($125,840.00 per year +).
