Survey Assistant / Drafting Technician
Position Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with on-going surveying and drafting projects. Responsibilities include:
- Completing and coordinating land surveys involving:
- Working with project managers and party chiefs to successfully undertake legal, engineering and construction surveys.
- Managing equipment and resources.
- Traveling to job sites and traversing sometimes challenging terrain.
- Drafting and processing survey data using MicroSurvey and AutoCAD software.
- Performing title searches and calculations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated technical abilities in surveying and drafting along with proficiency in the use of MicroSurvey and AutoCAD software. Education in geomatics, surveying or civil engineering is an asset. A valid Ontario drivers license is required.
This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications.
