TBT Engineering and PDR participate in annual Spring Up to Clean-Up campaign!

Friday May 10, 2019 was our annual Spring Up to Clean Up! Our TBT Yard is looking spotless thanks to all of the employees who took time out of their day to clean up. Afterwards, we got together for a thank you BBQ! Special thanks to PDR Contracting who partnered with us on this initiative.

Hike for Hospice 2019 occurs annually on the first Sunday of May. This event kicks off National Palliative Care Week and helps build up awareness and raise funds to ensure individuals and families living with a life-threatening illness receive support.


TBT Engineering Sponsors Lake Helen Jr Braves Atom hockey team!

TBT Engineering is a proud sponsor of the Lake Helen Junior Braves Atom hockey team. The Jr. Braves Atom team recently travelled to Mississauga,ON to participate in the Little Native Hockey League -LNHL Tournament!

Since its inception in 1971, the LNHL tournament has been a huge success resulting in a very position experience for Ontario First Nation children, youth and communities.

3rd Annual TBTE Chili Cook-off brought the heat!

Friday March 29, 2019 marked our 3rd Annual TBTE Chili Cook Off!! There were some strong contenders bringing the heat and the flavour. 7 different chili’s were entered this year and the competition was fierce.

The votes were close but Aaron K. remains the chili champion for another year! Way to go Aaron!!

Congrats to our top three chili recipes (cooked by Aaron, Eric & Sarah, and Glen) and Congrats to all of our cooks who entered, everything was delicious!

Proceeds raised from today’s Cook Off will support the RFDA Thunder Bay Regional Food Distribution Association

TBT ENGINEERING SPONSORS 2020 SPECIAL OLYMPICS CANADA WINTER GAMES

At a media event held Wednesday March 27 at C.J. Sanders Fieldhouse, TBT Engineering was thrilled to announce that we are a Presenting Sport Sponsor for the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games (Thunder Bay 2020)

Also in attendance and fellow partnering sponsor organizations included – Taranis Contracting Group, Enercare, Keating Insulation Inc., Lakehead University, Robert’s Plumbing & Sheet Metal, Loch Lomond Ski Area, Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada, Galaxy Lanes Restaurant and Lounge, Kamview Nordic Centre, Fort William Curling Club, Thunder Bay Tournament Centre, Chapples Golf Course, and Delaney Arena.

The multi-sport national event will be hosted in Thunder Bay, Ontario from February 25 to 29, 2020 and will welcome over 1,200 athletes, coaches, and families from across Canada. These Winter Games will include competition in eight official Special Olympics sports: alpine skiing, five pin bowling, cross country skiing, curling, figure skating, floor hockey, speed skating and snowshoeing.


TBT Engineering Staff Go Purple In Support Of Child Abuse Prevention!

On Wednesday, October 24th TBT Engineering participated in the annual Step Up campaign. This joint effort by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care and The Children’s Aid Society aims to remind our community that we are all responsible for the safety, happiness, and well-being of children and youth.

TBTE employees got involved by wearing purple, the official colour of child abuse prevention.

Annual TBTE Golf Tournament Raises $7,120 for Children’s Centre Foundation of TBay

TBT Engineering’s annual employee-driven Golf Tournament fundraiser was a resounding success once again this year! This year’s Tournament drew in a record attendance of over 106 golfers and together we raised $7,120.00 for the Children’s Centre Foundation of Thunder Bay. TBTE would just like to say THANK YOU again to every individual and organization that donated prizes, our volunteers, and all the golfers that attended.
