The Nature Conservancy of Canada announced on March 29, 2017 that TBT Engineering Limited played an important role through a matched sponsorship in order to assist the Conservancy in achieving their goal of acquiring 2,500 acres of pristine land on the far north shores of Big Trout Bay for the purpose of preserving this piece of Canada’s wilderness for future generations.   In addition to TBT Engineering, other contributors included the City of Thunder Bay, the Government of Canada, and several generous donors on both sides of our border.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) mandate is to create a legacy for future generations by conserving important natural areas and biological diversity across all regions of Canada.  To find out more about how you can get involved, or to donate, please visit NCC

On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 TBT ENGINEERING participated in the 2016 Heart & Stroke Big Bike Campaign to raise both funds and awareness for those affected by heart disease. 29 staff members embarked on a sunny 16-minute bike ride which took us from the Best Western (DAYS INN) around Confederation College and onto the Harbour Expressway for the final leg of our journey! We were motivated to return to this worthwhile campaign by the knowledge that we were riding to raise money for those affected by heart disease and the hope that our contribution would help to save a life. By the end of the campaign, TBT Engineering and its staff raised just under $4,000.00 for Heart and Stroke research.

A great team effort; Thank you to all those who sponsored us as well as our riders!
