TBTE provided engineering survey services for survey of existing conditions of the main runway 07-25 to assist with design of a new runway. Surveys were required to be conducted to high level (10mm +/- accuracy) and was completed with robotic total stations with full site control calibration. Above and below ground utilities, drainage, and attaching taxiways were also included. Approaches were also surveyed to verify heights of infrastructure along the approach paths to the runway. Plans were developed using Civil3d and coordinated with the design group to include all field inspection data that was captured separately. Plans were used to develop the new runway design. Construction was completed in 2022.
