Position Description

We are seeking motivated and versatile Civil Technicians to take on new challenges and support a wide range of projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple divisions, including Field and Laboratory Services, Surveying, CAD and Civil Design, and Contract Administration.

Position Responsibilities

Field and Laboratory Services:
Perform soil, concrete, asphalt, and other material sampling and testing on-stie and in the laboratory.

Surveying:
Participate in a variety of surveying and data collection projects.

CAD and Design
Process survey data and assist with Civil design using MicroSurvey, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Contract Administration
Perform on-site inspection and ensure compliance to standards and codes on highway, roadway and other construction projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring some experience in Materials Engineering, Surveying, CAD or Contract Administration, a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, a class G driver’s license and a willingness to work in a variety of locations and settings. This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications ($24.25 + per hour).
